Big News x2

Hello Friends!

It has been a few weeks since my last blog. I was holding off because I have some exciting news!

First, many of you know that I have been attending some local craft and art fairs. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate everyone’s support, positive thoughts, and encouragement for those events. Unfortunately, it became obvious they weren’t the best venue for my pieces.

So, my first piece of news is that I have gotten a vendor space at The Vintage Pearl in Mathews, VA. It is a wonderful small shoppe with vendors selling different wares and artisan works. I moved into the space on September 1st and have been working hard the past few weeks filling it with not only my painted furniture but also other hand-crafted items such as tea towels and mug rugs. Soon I will be adding handmade wristlet key chains and candles. Below is a picture of the space before it was decorated for fall. You can find The Vintage Pearl on Facebook

Now the second piece of my big news is that I am now officially a retailer for Wise Owl Paint!!! (insert happy dance!!!!) If you are unfamiliar with Wise Owl, let me tell you they have some AMAZING paint! Their tag line is “Premium Finishes Innovated by Science”. Their paint has very low to no VOC’s. They have 3 lines of paint. 1) Chalk Synthesis, 2) One Hour Enamel (OHE), 3) One Hour Ceramic along with furniture salves, glazes, brushes and a Salt Wash product that I can’t wait to try. The full line will be available on my website, and I will be stocking the Chalk Synthesis, OHE, glazes, salves and brushes at The Vintage Pearl. There will be more details on how to use the Chalk Synthesis paint and OHE in future posts along with in person classes later in 2022. I know I still owe my followers a video on how to decoupage with old windows. I apologize that has been delayed but I am planning to get that done very soon.

Thank you everyone again for all the support! I am so excited about these new opportunities and look forward to sharing so much more with you about both ventures very soon.
